how to get involved with the 7th annual In Vino Veritas mock trial competition at GGU
Pulling off a national mock trial competition at this level is no small feat and it takes the help and dedication of many to even make it possible. We are seeking attorneys who are licensed litigators to volunteer evaluating the mock trial competition rounds.
The majority need for help is during the preliminary rounds hosted on campus at GGU in downtown San Francisco on Friday, October 19 from 9 am to 5 pm. We also need evaluators on Saturday, October 20 from 9 am to 5 pm for the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds hosted at GGU. We also need a handful of evaluators to join us for the trip up to wine country to score the final round which will be held in Petaluma, in Sonoma County, on Sunday, October 21.
We are also seeking judges currently sitting on the bench to preside over the competition rounds on October 19, 20, and 21.
In Vino Veritas is a dynamic national mock trial competition that boasts both a scenic setting and modern courtroom technology for the competing teams. What really sets this competition apart from others however is the wealth of experience, knowledge, and skill that our volunteer evaluators and judges bring to the table.
Please use the form below to let us know if you are interested in volunteering and what your availability is. Thank you in advance for helping us pull off this nationally recognized competition.
