Yzabel Tinga
Yzabel Tinga has competed in Mock Trial Competitions for the last nine years, both as a competitor and a coach. While in undergrad, she succeeded in leading her collegiate mock trial team to the University’s first ever Regional Mock Trial Championship win. She was recently awarded the Litigation Center’s Trial Advocacy Rising Star Award, and has also received Witkin Awards for Trial Evidence and Advocacy, and Competition: Mock Trial.
Yzabel participated in GGU’s first virtual 1st STEP Program in the summer of 2020. She won the fall 2020 Golden Griffin Challenge and competed in the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association Competition and Texas Young Lawyers Association Competition on GGU’s National Mock Trial Team. During this time, Yzabel also assisted as the Litigation Center’s Student Director to organize their annual In Vino Veritas Competition. She is currently working as a Law Clerk at Louie & Jimenez LLP and plans to become a zealous criminal defense litigator.
